Glacier National Park! What?? So beautiful. Dove & I went up there on a beautiful day and walked around a bunch. A lot of the roads were closed because of the snow, which was about 20 inches deep, but the snow on the trees and floating down all around us added that special touch of magic that was totally worth it. We didn't get to see any actual glaciers since the hike would be too long. I was bummed, but hey- the fact that I got to the park was a gift in and of itself.
walking around this reminded me of the Wind & The Willows claymation scenes of them walking through the snowy woods. remember?
we saw prints in the snow. they say the grizz are coming out early this year because the weather is so warm. oh snap!
i couldn't help but give the great creator some credit when she made this color scheme in the rocks. best decorator.
we stared these ladies down for a long time.
i thought this view was a funny contrast from the Cali coast photos. now there is lots of snow around me!
walking down train tracks gives my brain room to breath.
Dove did a good job of finding deep snow hills to sink into. in all honesty i fell through some deep snow right into a creek and soaked myself pretty bad. home we went.
magic
the color in this ice is colored from the water running over the rocks colored so spectacularly.
the colors! the colors!
