27 out of 30 states

This is a California Oak that Ched & Elaine gave me as a thank you from the institute.  I've been watering it and bringing it into all the places I've been staying.  Last night it was eaten by my cousin's cat.  Then the cat threw it up.  I'm hoping that it isn't completely dead.  We will see.

These are the chickens from Clare & Rooster's farm. They have a good crew of chickens now and are planning to expand this summer. Pretty cool.

This is their chicken coop. They built it.

We took a walk around their property. This is a creek that rolls through the landscape.

Rooster trompin through the snow.

The sheep dog, whom I loved.
I'm bummed we didn't get pictures of the family- the kids and Clare. They're so dear.  But they were wonderful and I'm so glad that we stopped there.

We are now in Chicago visiting my cousin & his wife and his brother. And our friend Antler. I'm excited to walk around. We have been driving SO MUCH.
